8 Weeks to Home Organization Bliss: Week 6 – Living Rooms
It is truly amazing how living rooms have a tendency to look cluttered when just a few items are out of place. Shoes stuck under the couch, an overflowing book shelf, stacks of magazines on a table, that excessive number of remote controls - all can transform your comfortable living room into a mound of stress. In most living rooms a few organizing tweaks can save you time, energy and stress. With this week’s tips, tricks and before & after pictures I hope you will be inspired to have a comfortable living room. If not, I ... Keep Reading >>

8 Weeks to Home Organization Bliss: Week 4 – Bathrooms
My 8-week series continues with ... Bathrooms! The bathroom is usually the smallest room in a house yet it stores an overwhelming number of items: toiletries, first aid supplies, prescription medicines, beauty products ... and nearly every woman has at minimum a small collection of makeup and perfume. Because the bathroom contains so many different items, all with different shapes and sizes, function and consistency of use, it is really easy to see why it is one of my clients least favorite rooms to tackle. So why bother with the ... Keep Reading >>
8 Weeks to Home Organization Bliss: Week 3 – Closets
I really enjoy working in master closets. I know, I say that about every room - but I do! Unlike some areas of the house the master closet is ultra-personal and needs to be used by you on a daily basis. When it is out of control, you feel out of control. I get a lot of calls from clients who think their biggest closet issue is that they are woefully short on space. They rarely are. The issue is usually too much stuff that they don't need or want. When a closet gets jammed packed it ceases to be functional and just becomes ... Keep Reading >>
8 Weeks to Home Organization Bliss: Week 2 – Kids Rooms & Playrooms
I am so excited by the response from the first part of my series, 8 Weeks to Home Organization Bliss: Week 1 - Kitchen and Panty! This week I am sharing some of my best tips and tricks for kid's bedrooms and playrooms. Some of my favorite organizing projects have been working directly with children to organize their personal spaces. I find that when a child takes part in the process they feel a really positive connection with the final product. If everyone gets on board with keeping both areas as clutter-free as possible the ... 8 Weeks to Home Organization Bliss: Week 1 – Kitchen & Pantry
I get requests from a lot of clients asking for help re-organizing their kitchen and pantry, which I absolutely love. Every kitchen I have organized is completely different and I don't just mean design. Before I can start a kitchen and pantry project the most important questions I ask clients are about every-day functionality. One client might exclusively eat take-out but enjoys to bake. Another client might have a large family with a revolving pantry. Last week I was asked to help a family re-work their kitchen and pantry for a ... Keep Reading >>
College Prep Bedroom Organization with Before and Afters
Do you ever look at the before pictures here on Kuzak's Closet and think, "really, how could someone live in that space?" I am sharing a project that I tackled last week that had me wondering just that! The project I am sharing today is actually the bedroom of one of my assistant's, Jennalynn. I know, shocking that someone who works for an organizing company would have a room in shambles! She's been telling me about her cluttered bedroom for a few weeks but I didn't know it would be this wild. I typically ask my clients a ... Keep Reading >>
Huge Project, Huge Progress
I started working on a huge project at the end of February with a fabulous client. If you follow me on Facebook you have seen some of the progress pictures that I am showing you today. My client lives in a 1,500 square foot mobile home in the area. Shortly after she moved in, life's stresses started piling up and so did the clutter. She had recently got divorced. Then her father passed away. Then her grandmother and then her mother, and then the dog and cat. She was overwhelmed and began living in a small part of the home ... Keep Reading >>
