Kuzak’s Closet Month in Review: February
Whew! I survived February! It was a wonderful month and we were able to jam in a TON of great projects over the 28 days. I've had a huge influx of projects land on the calendar from families looking to liquidate their homes before the spring real estate season and families hoping to organize their homes in anticipation of spring cleaning and as a follow-up to their new year's resolutions. I'm kicking off today's post with this fun photo of the Kuzak's Closet gang taken over the weekend. Man we have so much fun together! When I ... Keep Reading >>
Valentine’s Day Style at The Four Seasons Palo Alto
Valentine's Day is one of those holidays that really stumps a lot of people, me included! Thus looking for some Valentine style ideas I joined some girlfriends at The Four Seasons Silicon Valley for their Afternoon Tease at Quattro event this past weekend. ... Keep Reading >>
A Peek at My Family Room with Recent Vintage Additions
We've lived in our current Los Altos home for almost 4 years and I'm still working on the decor. We've been lucky to have a great landlord in a really nice location so we aren't in any rush to move, but I know when we decide to buy a home it will be much smaller than our current 2,500 square foot abode. That is just the way it goes here with our crazy Silicon Valley real estate market. I shared some photos of our family room after we moved in and I realized that it has transitioned quite a bit so today I am sharing an updated ... Keep Reading >>
Kuzak’s Closet Month In Review: January
It's a new year and I am constantly reminded how much I love my job! Kuzak's Closet is booming and I can't wait to see where 2015 will take the company! With all of the exciting projects going on I am trying to find balance and continue to deliver my standard quality of service while delegating more and more duties to my staff. With the demand for services as high as it is I can only grow with the help of others. January is always a busy month but this year we were booked out earlier than usual (starting last November). We've ... Keep Reading >>
Top 14 Professional Highlights of 2014
2014 has been an amazing year for me professionally and I'm proud to say it! My hard work has paid off and my vision for expanding my brand into a business has actually happened. This year there have been so many great moments that I've stared with you on the blog, Facebook, and Instagram but today I wanted to collect my top 14 to reflect on where I've been. I started the year in what seemed like a rat-race because the demand for my services was so high but I could only be in one or two places at a time. I could see Taylor and ... Keep Reading >>
Week in Review: The Year is Almost Over!
Only a few days left in 2014 and I'm racing to the finish! I'm feeling so good about the progress that I made this week and I'm glad that I've made the time in my schedule to tie up loose ends so I can be better prepared for 2015. I told my friend Pam last night that I am like a car going 90 miles an hour at all times and I have a hard time slowing down. Over the last week I've made more time for myself that normal so I can gradually go from 90 miles to 60 miles to 45 miles to 0 miles so I can fully enjoy the holidays. I hope ... Keep Reading >>
Day In The Life: November
Eleven down...1 to go! I'm happy to report that I survived November, it is the month when "worlds collide" at Kuzak's Closet. All of my organizing clients need organizing sessions before the holidays and the estate projects that come by way have to be handled before year-end. I will admit that much of my survival is credited to a week-long trip to London during the first week of the month. I packed my bags and left Taylor and Al in charge. It's no surprise that things were handled perfectly. I left for my trip at the tail ... Keep Reading >>
Day in the Life: Estate Liquidation
This week while Amanda was away on vacation the team decided it would be fun to document a Day in the Life at one of our Estate Liquidations in Los Altos. Kuzak's Closet has offered Estate Liquidation services ever since Amanda started her business, but only within the last year has the service included a private sale - and they are so fun! What is the general criteria for a Kuzak's Closet Estate Liquidation? Time crunch, partial contents of a house and everything must go - all in 1 day! The private sale is like a treasure hunt ...
