Happy July Kuzak's Closet readers! Hope you all are truly enjoying your summer as I am. As I mentioned in my June Month In Review (Read HERE), I have been working on incorporating more fun blog features and one of those recent collaborations took place up in the city when Kuzak's Closet was invited to bake with San Francisco Cooking School. Although my busy schedule doesn't currently allow me too much time in the kitchen, I do love cooking and baking so it was exciting to visit a culinary school and see if I could cut it in a ... June Month In Review
June is a wrap and that means that the year is half over, amazing! Monica helps me with these posts by collecting her favorite images from the month so when I log in to write-up my review it is really interesting for me to see what she picks. My analytical mind instantly dissects what was accomplished, and what projects are still on the table. Some months it looks like I've worked way too much, others look like we've had too much fun but this month looks to be perfectly balanced between the two. Monica and I were invited to the ... Summer Fashion with Santana Row
Oh how the weather has heated up here in California! Taking a moment to enjoy the sunshine, I recently joined Santana Row poolside for their summer fashion show and what a show it was. It was a nice treat to dress up and go out on the town with my husband and our friends. ... Keep Reading >>
2015 Sunset Celebration
I am a huge fan of Sunset Magazine and over the weekend I was able to attend their Sunset Celebration, the last one at their gorgeous Menlo Park Campus. The 7 acre property was recently sold and the magazine is moving to Oakland so I am so thankful I could experience the Celebration before the move! The Celebration truly embodies everything that the magazine stands for, West Coast lifestyle, travel, garden, and culinary delights. I've always wanted to attend this annual event but I never manage to get tickets in time. This year ... Keep Reading >>
May Month In Review
Going through the highlights of the month of May has been a hoot, I totally forgot that half of the things happened! For instance, if you asked me about my recent vacation I would say "what recent vacation?" We went to Palm Springs for a week at the beginning of the month but it feels like it was 2 years ago. Our parents (who are friends) both expressed an interested to want to visit us in May so Chris and I decided it would be fun to rent a house in Palm Springs and go on a big vacation together. The house was a mid-century ... Keep Reading >>
Kuzak’s Closet: April In Review
When I'm asked about my job I always tell people that I own a business called Kuzak's Closet but it wasn't until I was sitting across from my business expert Tari during business planning meeting going over budgets did I really believe it. I've been doing this 10 years and lately it has really sunk in that I have a real business. Everyday my clients depend on me, the realtors and lawyers we work with depend on me, the shoppers depend on me, and most importantly my staff depend on me. The theme of April was getting down to ... NAPO 2015 Wrap-Up
Taylor and I just returned home from the annual National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO) organizing conference, this year hosted in sunny Los Angeles. Over 4 days we met with fellow organizers from all around the country, connected with local friends in the business, and gained more educational insight through professional development workshops that focused on topics we love like: working with hoarders, helping clients with ADHD, tips for greater productivity, and efficiency ideas for home relocations, just to name ... Kuzak’s Closet Month In Review: March
Ah, March! It's been such a busy week that I fell behind on writing my March in review blog post and now, only 3 days into the month of April it feels like March was 2 years ago. We had an eventful month loaded with organizing sessions and estate projects. I tried my best to give you a peek inside the organizing piece of the business through my Instagram and Facebook pages as I know you are drowning in estate marketing. Both services stem from my love of organizing but the estate sales are open to the public (so you hear about ... Keep Reading >>
Easter Baking with Williams Sonoma
I joined Williams Sonoma last weekend to spruce up my Easter baking skills and what a treat it was. Easter is one of those holidays where desserts can become fabulous party highlights. For example, fruit crepes are a delish backyard brunch option or a classic carrot cake would make a yummy end to a dinner party. Therefore showing guests some handy baking tips and tricks, Williams Sonoma Los Gatos head chef Elliot whipped up a simple Bundt cake worthy of any Easter occasion. ... Keep Reading >>
