Summer is not my favorite season for fashion. I’m just not a tank top and sun dress type of gal. Lucky for me I get to wear my Kuzak’s Closet uniform to work on most hot summer days and am able to escape the heat for day trips to Carmel, Half Moon Bay, and San Franscisco. A few weeks ago I headed up to the city for an afternoon of baking with SF Cooking School (see more about my class HERE). I wanted to look like I made an effort to look fashionable, (I didn’t want the SF hipsters to point and stare) so I put on my go-to summer ensemble for the season.
My top is from Nordstrom, I love the color and the cut. It is light weight and I can wear it closed or as a cardigan over a t-shirt for a more casual look. My jeans are by Paige Denim, my favorite brand right now. They don’t stretch out too much and are more real when it comes to fit and sizing.
My bag by Vince Camuto has been a fantastic investment this summer, I use it ALL OF THE TIME! It’s perfect with dresses and with jeans and holds just enough. Well, holds my iPhone 6 plus, that thing is huge, ha!
Now don’t think I’m getting to fancy with these shoes. Yes, they are by Coach but no, I didn’t pay the full Coach price. I bought that at the Palm Springs outlets during my May getaway. They were half off and then some so I couldn’t resist. These babies say comfort and style all at once, they are so comfortable you might even catch me wearing them to an estate sale!
I’m headed to New York this week for BlogHer 2015 so if you see me sporting this look say hi!
Love the look, Amanda. Gives me some ideas, and I need them!
Glad to help! Are you still doing Stitch Fix?
