A San Francisco Bay Area native Sarah grew up in Sunnyvale, CA, daughter to a father who had a knack for the DIY from beer to furniture and a mother with a passion for eccentric art and chic dinner parties. Her love for vintage items stemmed from her home, where her parents repurposed items in creative ways. It then grew when she entered high school, embracing the thrift store/flea market junkie culture, becoming a regular in the SF Haight vintage clothes shopping district.
Having a major weak spot for housewares and decor, Sarah has taken her preloved shopping excursions global, for example flea market shopping in Glasgow, Scotland. One of her favorite finds also came during her travels. When she was working in London for a winter as a bike messenger, she popped into a charity shop near Paddington station and came out with a Pyrex JAJ gravy dish! Sarah has amazing vintage cycling shoe and vintage bicycle belt buckle collections. Currently her vintage shopping agenda consists of looking for NASA memorabilia and camp blankets.
A bike messenger for 15 years, Sarah now joins the Kuzak’s Closet family as an estate sale specialist and is so excited to share her passion for all things vintage with our Kuzak’s Closet shoppers.
