Kuzak’s Closet Tips
Hefty ziplock bags are not only a good idea when packing for yourself, but perfect when packing for your family. Plan all outfits from head to toe and place each look in a bag. Label each bag by name and viola, all family members will have a no brainer way of picking their own looks throughout the trip. Moreover the dirty clothes can be placed back in the bag and not get mixed up with the other clean clothes. This tip will not only save you space but time as well.

Traveling with baby? That’s going to need a vacation after all in itself. But as much work as it is to tote our little tots onto the next adventure, it’s definitely worth all the memories and madness. Aside from the basic baby things that you carry everyday (extra clothes, a blanket, snacks, etc.) Here are a few things that you are going to need if you’re toting your precious toddler or baby:
Light Stroller: An amazing stroller doesn’t have to cost an arm and a leg. Be sure to pick one that can be checked in (see dimensions) and opened easily (one hand FTW).But, trust, you will want a stroller with you no matter where you go.
Baby Carrier: The importance of a baby carrier is beyond all thing known to importance. With one of these guys, you can multi-task and keep your hands free. Front facing for a baby, back pack style for a toddler. The light stroller, of course, will work just fine for the little ones that grow out of these guys.
Baby’s Backpack: Get a cute bag for baby so they can store all their goodies in it and you’ll know exactly where everything she needs is. Picking a cute design helps to have something they can grow with. Also super helpful when traveling with more than one child. Color code their belongings with a theme (Owls/Orange for one child, Pink/Butterflies for the other) to help organize and recognize who’s is what’s at first glance.
Hat: Keep baby and you safe from the sun and always tote a foldable hat for the both of you. Sunburn and skin damage is no bueno. Chafing and blistering can also easily damper so sunblock yourselves.
Ipad: You can be the parent to swear that you’ll never let your child watch TV, but when they’re strapped in a seatbelt, screaming from the high altitude on the way to Hawaii, popping in some Care Bears is a miracle worker.
Ipad Sleeve/Protection: Be sure to protect your iPad and also help mask it from oversea tourist robbers. Finding one that lets you store receipts, headphones, pens, and more is a great way to get to the things that you want without having to dig deep into your purse for hours.
Your Tote: You’re gonna need a bigger bag. Even better if it works as a carry on. Since your child’s belongings are already stored in their own backpacks, your tote can store the emergency things that you need for the whole family. Sunblock, camera, purell, and multi-use wipes. etc. Stay stylish, too, by picking a cute one that you can use beyond your young ones beginning years.
Lastly, have fun! You can always buy things that you forget at a local drugstore or tourist shop. Don’t let the worry of not being organized and prepared overtake your chance to create some great times with the family. These days don’t last forever and next thing you know, junior will be heading to Cancun without you for Spring Break. So enjoy it and savor it. We all know time flies when you’re having fun.
