Hi there Kuzaks Closet Readers! I am so excited to be here on Amanda’s blog today, to participate in Tailgate Week! My name is Katie, and I blog over at Katie{Did}It. I like to do lots of DIY projects, crafts, and cooking. I hope to see you visit me over there some time!
In my house, we cheer for the Dallas Cowboys… Most of the time. Ha! My dad is a diehard Cowboys fan, so I was pretty much raised on them. But my husband plays fantasy football, so we generally watch lots of games so he can see how his players are doing. *fun*
Now, lets get down to business. How many of you out there like pizza? Did you all raise your hands? Good. Because if you don’t like pizza… Well, then there may be something wrong with you. Just sayin.
I have this delicious dip I found here, called Pizza Dip. And it is YUM-MY. And easy. Which makes it perfect for football games.
Here is what you’ll need:
Pepperoni
1/4 cup Mayonnaise
1/4 cup Sour Cream
1 cup Pizza Sauce
1 cup Mozzarella Cheese (divided)
4 oz. Cream Cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan (divided)
2 tbl. spns. Black Olives
Preheat your oven to 350. Mix the mayonnaise, sour cream, cream cheese, and the first half of your cheese together until smooth. Spread the mixture in the bottom of a 9 inch square or round pie plate.
Now spread your pizza sauce across the cheese mixture.
Now cover the pizza sauce with the remainder of your cheeses, and then place the pepperonis and olives on top of the cheese. I didn’t use any olives becuase the hubs doesn’t care for olives (what a weirdo, I know).
Now bake at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes, or until the sides are bubbly and the cheese is golden brown.
Mmmmm! How easy was that?! We ate this with some Ritz crackers, and it was perfect. The only thing I will add as a note to this recipe, is that it could stand to use a little less mayonnaise. It was pretty rich, and we couldn’t eat too much of it at one time. But the second time I made it I used less mayonnaise and it was perfect.
Thanks so much for having me here today! I hope you all enjoyed this easy recipe! I would love to hear from you, so stop by and say hey over at Katie{Did}It, and send me pics when you make this delicious dip for your next tailgating party!
