Nothing is better than a warm and buttery soft pretzel, I can barely pass Aunt Annie’s at the mall without caving in! Over the last few months I have seen recipes floating around blogland for homemade pretzels and I was sceptical, I couldn’t believe that these tasty treats could ever be replicated at home…boy was I wrong!
I did some research and discovered that boiling the pretzels for 30 seconds before they go into the oven makes all of the difference. I used Alton Brown’s recipe and they turned out great. I pulled them out of the oven and could hardly let them cool, I wanted one SO BAD! After I photographed them for this post put a pretzel on a plate with some honey mustard and dove right in, 3 pretzels later I had to cut myself off. I hope you give this recipe a try, warm pretzels make the perfect winter treat!

I know Don would love these but I don't have a stand mixer. I don't know how easy it is to work with dough and a hand mixer.

I love pretzels. I don't go to the mall very often so when I do go I treat myself to a pretzel. I will have to try this recipe. They look really good.
